Brenton Thwaites to star in supernatural thriller Ghosts of War

February 7, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Australian actor Brenton Thwaites is set to star in Ghosts of War, a new supernatural thriller from writer-director Eric Bress (The Butterfly Effect, The Final Destination), Variety has revealed.

The film will follow “five battle-hardened American soldiers assigned to hold a French chateau near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield.”

Thwaites has recently wrapped the drama An Interview with God and zom-com Office Uprising, and will next be seen alongside Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush and Javier Bardem in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
