March 25, 2017 by Gary Collinson

With the third film of his four-picture deal, Sandy Wexler, set to hit Netflix next month, it has been announced that Adam Sandler has extended his contract with the streaming giant for a further four movies, which will be produced through his Happy Madison Productions banner.

“Love working with Netflix and collaborating with them,” said Sandler as part of the official announcement. “I love how passionate they are about making movies and getting them out there for the whole world to see. They’ve made me feel like family and I can’t thank them enough for their support.”

“Adam Sandler one of the leading comedians in the film world, and his movies have proven to be extremely successful with our subscribers around the world,” added Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to extend our partnership with Adam and his entire team at Happy Madison and keep the world laughing.”

Sandler’s next Netflix film Sandy Wexler hits on April 14th, and sees him starring alongside Jennifer Hudson, Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Carl Weathers, and Arsenio Hall. Watch the trailer here.
