Dolph Lundgren confirms Arrow and The Expendables 4 return

March 8, 2017 by Gary Collinson

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly to promote his new film Don’t Kill It [read our review here], action star Dolph Lundgren has revealed that he’ll be reprising the role of the villain Konstantin Kovar in The CW’s DC superhero show Arrow, as well as reuniting with Sylvester Stallone for the fourth and final outing for The Expendables.

“I’m going back [to Arrow] at the end of the season,” said Lundgren. “I’m doing three more [episodes], trying to work it in somehow. I have a lot of fun, because my character talks quite a bit, which is nice, and he’s kind of comedic.”

As for The Expendables 4, Lundgren offered a brief update, confirming his involvement and stating that he expects it to start shooting later this year: “That’s what I’ve heard. It’s going to be this year sometime, possibly in the fall.”

Arrow airs on Wednesday nights on The CW, while The Expendables 4 is currently without a release date, but expected at some point in 2018.
