Oscar Isaac to hunt Nazis in Operation Finale

March 30, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Star Wars star Oscar Isaac has signed on to lead the upcoming thriller Operation Finale, which tells the true story of the hunt for Adolf Eichmann, a member of the SS and one of the main architects of the Holocaust during World War II.

The film is being directed by Chris Weitz (About a Boy, A Better Life) and will see Isaac playing Peter Malkin, a member of Israel’s Mossad, and the man who wrestled Eichmann to the ground during his capture in 1960.

Isaac will next be seen in the Armenian genocide drama The Promise, and returns to the role of Poe Dameron in December for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He is also set to appear in Alex Garland’s Annihilation and George Clooney’s Suburbicon, and earlier this year he also signed on to the World War II thriller The Garbo Network.
