The Russos are teaming up with The Daniels, with Deadline reporting that Joe and Anthony Russo have enlisted Swiss Army Man writer-directors Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan to write, direct and produce a new sci-fi feature.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the site reports that the movie will be as original as the Daniels’ award-winning (and divisive) Swiss Army Man. It will mark the first project from the Russos newly-formed production company back by the China-based Huayi Brothers Media Corporation.
Joe and Anthony Russo are incredibly busy at the moment; they are currently in production on Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel, which are shooting back-to-back ahead of release in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The brothers are also producing a TV adaptation of cult film The Warriors, and have recently signed on for a small screen adaptation of the Valiant comic book series Quantum and Woody.
