Wonder Woman: exciting & entertaining in every way. Great SFX and characters. Here's a summer blockbuster as good as Captain America ($370M)

That is high praise indeed. Watching trailers for Wonder Woman, it’s easy to see comparisons to Captain America: The First Avenger being made, and it’s not a bad movie to be compared to: Captain America stands at a solid 80% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. For comparison, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad sit at 28% and 25% rotten respectively. Keep an eye out for more early reactions to Wonder Woman, as the film gets screened for more and more people.

Wonder Woman will hit cinemas on June 2nd, with Patty Jenkins (Monster) directing a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) and Ann Wolf.
