Lynda Carter praises Wonder Woman, making of featurette released

May 28, 2017 by Gary Collinson

We’re just a few days away from the release of Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman movie, and the film has received the seal of approval from the original Amazon Princess, with Lynda Carter taking to Twitter to share some praise for the film and its lead star Gal Gadot.

Carter of course portrayed Diana in the Wonder Woman TV series, which ran between 1975 and 1979. She has also recently been guest starring in the Supergirl TV series, where she plays the President of the United States.

Meanwhile, in other Wonder Woman news, we have a thirteen minute featurette exploring the making of the DCEU blockbuster, and featuring interviews with the cast and crew; check it out here…

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman will hit cinemas on June 1st in the UK and June 2nd in North America, with Patty Jenkins (Monster) directing a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) and Ann Wolf.
