Vin Diesel returning as Xander Cage for xXx4

June 20, 2017 by Gary Collinson

After making his return to the xXx franchise earlier this year with the third instalment, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, THR is reporting that Vin Diesel will be reprising the role of the extreme sports star turned secret agent once again for xXx4.

The sequel has been announced as part of a slate of films from The H Collective, a new financing, production and distribution company which has struck deals with producers Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Sid Ganis and Mark Johnson.

In addition to xXx4, The H Collective has revealed several other projects, including the action comedy Three Sisters from director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) with Diesel’s Return of Xander Cage co-star Ruby Rose attached, horror-mystery Raven Road, action thriller White House Chef, and the previously announced Aaron Paul project The Parts You Lose.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage was released back in January and grossed almost $350 million worldwide. Diesel was joined in the cast by Samuel L. Jackson, Ruby Rose, Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette, Tony Jaa, Rory McCann, Michael Bisping, Nicky Jam, Neymar Jr., Kris Wu, Donnie Yen and Ice Cube.
