Casting breakdown may have revealed Arrow’s season 6 villain

July 19, 2017 by Gary Collinson

While we’ll likely get our first look at the upcoming sixth season of Arrow with a trailer this weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con, Bleeding Cool has unearthed a casting breakdown which may have revealed the main villain for the new season. If you don’t want to risk being spoiled, turn back now…

According to the site, a casting breakdown has went out for Ricardo Diaz, a.k.a. The New 52 version of Richard Dragon. The breakdown reads:

Male, 30s-40s, Diverse. Hardened ex-son recently released from prison for crimes he didn’t commit. Ricardo uses his freedom and 25 million dollars in settlement money to establish control over Star City’s criminal underworld. He’s a martial arts and fighting expert honed by years of life on the street and in prison.

In the comic books, Dragon assembled a team of supervillains called The Longbow Hunters, which includes the likes of The Clock King, Count Vertigo and Brick – characters who have already appeared in the DC show.
