Crash Magazine returning for a special Crash 2018 Annual

July 21, 2017 by Villordsutch

Back in the 1980’s when we wanted information about upcoming games, cheats, reviews or anything else in that field, we had to wait for a monthly fix from the local newsagent, who supplied us with our favourite gaming magazine.  The internet was a mere Sci-Fi pipe-dream and the word Google would have been taken as a misspelling.  Now one of the most adored ZX Spectrum magazines “Crash” is coming back with a special 99th issue release.

Chris Wilkins, from Fusion Retro Books, along with original creators and editors of Crash Magazine Roger Kean and Oliver Frey are bringing it back for a special Crash 2018 Annual, just in time for Christmas.  Containing brand new reviews of modern ZX Spectrum titles, a totally new Lunar Jetman comic strip, playing tips from Nick Roberts, Adventure Trail from Stuart Williams and many other contributing writers.

As with all Kickstarters there are a number of incentives based on the size of your pledge.  These range from just the annual, to a getting your photo in the annual as a backer in the “Hall of Slime” and finally reach the top tier of a the new Crash cover – on canvas – signed Oliver Frey himself.

If you’d like to get involved in getting the Crash 2018 Annual published then pop over to their Kickstarter page here.
