Rumour: Warner Bros. developing Harley Quinn vs. The Joker movie

July 21, 2017 by Gary Collinson

With Warner Bros.’ big DC Extended Universe San Diego Comic-Con panel set to take place tomorrow, the DCEU rumour mill is certainly in overdrive at the minute. Earlier we had a report that Ben Affleck may be finished as Batman, and now comes word of another potential movie in development at the studio.

According to Screen Rant, Warner Bros. is looking to pit Margot Robbie’s Harleen Quinzel against Jared Leto’s Crown Prince of Crime with a Harley Quinn vs. The Joker movie, which is described as “a spinoff” and is said to be in addition to Suicide Squad 2 and the Harley-headlined Gotham City Sirens.

Warner Bros. plans for the DCEU appear to be up in the air at the moment, but the studio has recently set new dates for DC movies, as well as confirming that Shazam! will be the next film to go into production. Hopefully we’ll get some clarification at Comic-Con tomorrow to put an end to all the rumour and speculation.

Would you like to see a Harley Quinn vs. The Joker movie? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
