August 21, 2017 by George Chrysostomou

We’re slowly edging closer to the November 2017 launch date of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2. As we do so, EA has treated us to more and more tidbits as to the improvements they have made upon their 2015 endeavour. EA previously teased us with this trailer showcasing some of the intergalactic space battles that fans have craved with the Starfighter Assault mode, and Gamescom has provided the perfect opportunity to showcase this even further as IGN live streamed EA’s presentation of their beautifully crafted Battlefront 2. Check out nine minutes of gameplay here…

The 9 minutes of brand new footage showcased here, provide just the start of the new space battles up for offer. Claiming that every ship has had their controls overhauled to give each craft a different feel, EA and Lucasfilm have tried to go above and beyond to bring back loyal fans to their property.

An exciting addition to the already stacked roster of new features in Battlefront 2, flying the Millennium Falcon has never seemed better than it does here. Brandishing some brand new battle craft and recreating the elements that gives Star Wars that magical quality, Battlefront 2 is seemingly going to be great addition to gamers and Star Wars fans alike.

Embark on an endless Star Wars action experience from the bestselling Star Wars HD videogame franchise of all time. Rush through waves of enemies on Starkiller Base with the power of your lightsaber in your hands. Storm through the jungle canopy of a hidden Rebel base on Yavin 4 with your fellow troopers, dispensing firepower from AT-STs. Line up your X-wing squadron for an attack on a mammoth First Order Star Destroyer in space. Or rise as a new Star Wars hero-Iden, an elite Imperial special forces soldier-and discover an emotional and gripping single-player story spanning thirty years. Experience rich and living Star Wars multiplayer battlegrounds across all three eras: prequel, classic, and new trilogy. Customize and upgrade your heroes, starfighters, or troopers, each with unique abilities to exploit in battle. Ride tauntauns or take control of tanks and speeders. You can become the master of your own Star Wars hero’s journey.
