Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody finds its Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon

The long-gestating Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has found its bandmates for Mr. Robot star Rami Malek’s Freddie Mercury, with QueenOnline reporting that Gwilym Lee (Jamestown), Ben Hardy (X-Men: Apocalypse) and Joe Mazzello (The Social Network) have been cast as Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.

The film is being directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) for 20th Century Fox, with the most recent draft of the script written by Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything), and will chronicle the rise of the legendary rock band through to their appearance at Live Aid in 1985.

Production on Bohemian Rhapsody is slated to get underway later this year, with the film set to hit cinemas on December 25th 2018 in the States and December 28th 2018 in the UK.
