2D castle defence game No Heroes Here coming to PC this October

September 23, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Indie Developer Mad Mimic Interactive have announced that their 2D castle defence game No Heroes Here will be arriving on Steam on the 3rd October.  The game’s entertaining gameplay and lovely pixel art style has already proved quite popular at Pax West 2017 and has earnt a place on The Pax 10 list, a list of the top 10 indie games at the event.

In No Heroes Here all heroes of Noobland have been killed leaving all ordinary people alone to defend a series of castle scattered throughout the kingdom.  As one of these non-heroic people, players will need to craft ammunition, load cannons and fire upon the hordes of enemies hellbent on destroying the kingdom.

The game can be played single player or by local or online co-op for up to 4 players.  In the latter mode teamwork will be the key to success and depending on how good a team you make whether Noobland survives or is destroyed.

No Heroes Here is a 2-4 multiplayer cooperative frenetic Castle Defense game where you and your friends must defend castles against hordes of enemies. Craft, craft more, craft some more, load your cannon and FIRE! In this frantic game for the survival of the kingdom of Noobland, players need to cooperate and coordinate at all times in order to achieve their goal!

No Heroes Here will be available on the PC and Mac (via Steam) on the 3rd October with plans to bring it to  the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch platforms in the first quarter of 2018.
