With less than two weeks to go until My Little Pony: The Movie arrives in US cinemas, Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the upcoming animated musical which you can check out below…

A new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

My Little Pony: The Movie is set for release on October 6th in the US and October 20th in the UK and features a voice cast that includes Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana and Friendship is Magic series regulars Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck.
