Tremors TV pilot adds three to its cast

September 19, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like we have our first three new additions to the cast of Syfy’s Tremors TV pilot, with Deadline reporting that Emily Tremaine (Vinyl), Megan Ketch (Jane the Virgin) and Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead) are joining the previously announced Kevin Bacon.

The Tremors pilot will serve as a sequel to the cult 1990 film, and sees Bacon back as Valentine McKee, who returns to the town of Perfection, Nevada after the Graboid worms begin to wreak havoc once again. However, in order to save the town, he’ll need to overcome age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex.

Tremaine is set to play Emily McKee, Valentine’s daughter, while Ketch plays doctor Mindy Sterngood (a grown up version of the young girl with the pogo stick from the movie), and Fernadnez has been cast as Nico Garza, a Perfection resident who has been killing time in the town waiting to split.

Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice) is set to direct the Tremors pilot, which has been written by Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle), who will also serve as showrunner.
