Daredevil season 3 teaser addresses The Defenders finale

October 18, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Warning. Spoilers for The Defenders follow. Turn back now if you’re yet to see it…

While The Defenders were successful in saving New York from The Hand in August’s Marvel team-up, our heroes didn’t come out unscathed with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil believed to have been killed during an explosion which left the Man Without Fear buried beneath tonnes of rubble. However, as we saw in the closing shots of the miniseries, Matt Murdock is alive and well and ready to be Born Again in the third season of his solo series.

To whet our appetites for the return of Daredevil, the official Twitter account has posted a teaser showing a prayer card from Matt’s funeral, complete with the caption “I’m fine”. Check it out here…

As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date for Daredevil season 3, however before it arrives we have The Punisher to look forward to this year, as well as season two of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage next year.
