Karl Urban and Ashley Greene set for Snowblind

October 28, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Karl Urban (Thor: Ragnarok), Ashley Greene (Twilight), and Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant) have signed on to star in the action-adventure film Snowblind, whcih is being directed by Marcus Alqueres (The Flying Man).

The movie has been scripted by Hank Woon from the novel by Don Roff, and “follows the story of a U.S. Ranger haunted by painful memories of a family tragedy, who becomes stranded with his platoon in a remote chalet in the woods. As they fight for survival and against their own inner demons, they are torn apart by a discovery they make — a box filled with $5 million in cash and a dark, disturbing secret.”

Urban can currently be seen as Skurge in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, and also has the crime thriller Hangman on the horizon. He has also had talks about joining the upcoming Judge Dredd series Mega-City One, and recently spoke about Star Trek 4, stating that he’s unsure what is happening with the next instalment of the sci-fi series.
