IGN has revealed a trailer for the DC Universe Animated Original Movie Batman: Gotham By Gaslight, the upcoming adaptation of Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola’s 1989 one-shot of the same name; check it out below…
“An adaptation of the popular 1989 tale that introduced us to a Victorian Era Dark Knight who was in pursuit of Jack the Ripper. Written by Brian Augustyn and drawn by Mike Mignola of Hellboy fame, BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT is largely considered to be the very first “Elseworlds” tale. At 48 pages, the original comic is relatively slim, meaning the movie version will offer an expanded version of the story, something that’s sure to delight fans of its cobblestone-paved world.”

Batman: Gotham By Gaslight is set for a home entertainment release in 2018 and features a voice cast that includes Bruce greenwood as Batman, Jennifer Carpenter as Selina Kyle and Anthony Head as Alfred Pennyworth alongside Chris Cox, John DiMaggio, David Forseth, Grey Griffin, Bob Joles, Yuri Lowenthal, Licoln Melcher, Scott Patterson, William Salyers, Tara Strong, Bruce Timm and Kari Wuhrer.
