Back in September it was announced that Mark Wahlberg will be reuniting with his Daddy’s Home director Sean Anders for the Paramount comedy Instant Family, and now Deadline has revealed that Wahlberg has been joined in the cast by Rose Byrne (Neighbors).
Penned by Anders and John Morris, Instant Family will see Wahlberg and Byrne as a couple who decide to adopt through the foster-care system and find themselves in over their heads raising three wild kids.
Wahlberg and Anders’ latest collaboration Daddy’s Home 2 was released in the U.S. this past weekend and opens in the UK this coming Wednesday, November 22nd. Byrne meanwhile is currently filming the Nick Hornby adaptation Juliet, Naked and is also set to star in the Peter Rabbit movie, which opens in North America in February 2018 and the UK in March 2018.
