Historical warfare MMO developers Wargaming have announced that update 0.6.13 will be available tomorrow for World of Warships. This latest update brings improvements to graphics, new Tier X rentals, changes to fire fighting and smoke changes to British Cruisers. Update 0.6.13 brings several graphical improvements to players, particularly those in Tier V-VI ships where the rendering of thin elements such as rigging has been improved. Players will also notice the new look of their ship’s aircraft and torpedoes in the torpedo tubes when a Halloween camo is applied in port. There have also been improvements made to the lighting of island surfaces and changes made to the textures of a good few ships.
The active time of the British Cruisers smoke generator has increased from 7 to 15 seconds. It is hoped that this great increase in the smoke screen time will help commanders of British cruisers make better use of their consumable. Also, where there’s smoke there’s fire…….. but it won’t be that case for long as the time it takes to extinguish fires on cruisers and destroyers has been reduced. Extinguishing one source of fire will now only take 30 seconds maximum instead of 60 seconds. The only exception is the Graf Spee which will take 45 seconds.
New Tier X ships will be available to use as of 0.6.13 so say good bye to the previous three and hello to the following:
German cruiser Hindenburg
Soviet destroyer Grozovoi
U.S. battleship Montana
These ships will be available to use in random or clan battles until Update 0.6.14.
