Turn-based strategy Post Human W.A.R leaves Early Access this December

December 1, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Playdius and indie developer Studio Chahut have announced that their turn based tactical and psychological strategy Post Human W.A.R will leave Steam Early Access for full release on the 14th December.  The game has spent the last 6 months in Early Access and in that time has seen lots of changes and additions, most notably the Champion which sees players having to find and defeat their opponent’s hidden champion to win.  Playdius have released a full release trailer which can be seen below…

In Post Human W.A.R the Earth is free from the wars of humanity, unfortunately it has been replaced by a huge war between mutated animals, robots and monkeys in tracksuits all vying for the spoils of our heritage.  As one of these factions players will experience a strategy adventure through solo campaigns and online multiplayer battles.

Post Human W.A.R features:

  • Unforgiving gameplay with nothing left to chance and no seniority induced imbalance.
  • Discover your opponent’s champion using a mix of bluff and tactics.
  • An absurd and completely original post-apocalyptic background.
  • Various ways to play: Solo campaign, local or online multiplayer with friends and others around the world, friendly or competitive.
  • Create barricades, destroy obstacles… change the terrain to your advantage throughout the battle.
  • Three different universes with 3 factions and a staggering 36 playable units.
