Tom Cruise is back in action in latest Mission: Impossible 6 set video

January 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Well, it looks like Tom Cruise has fully recovered from the ankle injury he suffered whilst performing a stunt on Mission: Impossible 6 last August, as the action star was spotted shooting scenes for the latest chapter of the blockbuster spy sequel in London this Saturday. The below video shows Cruise in action as Ethan Hunt, as he runs across the roof of Blackfriars Railway Bridge over the River Thames.

Production on Mission: Impossible 6 was shut down for nine weeks following Cruise’s injury, and resumed in October. Production should now be close to wrapping, and Cruise is currently preparing for his return as Maverick in the long-rumoured Top Gun sequel, which is expected to shoot this year.

Mission: Impossible 6 will see Tom Cruise joined by returning stars Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Michelle Monaghan, along with new additions Henry Cavill (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Sian Brooke (Sherlock), Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) and Vanessa Kirby (The Crown). It is set for release on July 27th 2018.
