Armando Iannucci has found his next feature film project, with Deadline reporting that the Veep and The Thick of It creator is set to follow The Death of Stalin by teaming with FilmNation for The Personal History of David Copperfield.
Based on the Charles Dickens novel and penned by Iannucci and his In the Loop collaborator Simon Blackwell, the film will follow Copperfield “as he navigates a chaotic world to find his elusive place within it. From his unhappy childhood to the discovery of his gift as a storyteller and writer, all the while on a journey full of life, color and humanity.”
