Having originally been pushed back from its planned March 2nd release date to August, Shane Black’s The Predator is set to undergo a brief round of reshoots in Vancouver this March, with Black reassembling his cast for two weeks.
Details on the reshoots are scarce, but there are a few unsubstantiated rumours – potentially pure speculation – circulating that Arnold Schwarzenegger could be set to shoot a cameo, reprising the role of Dutch from the original 1987 action classic. Black did originally speak to Schwarzenegger about a cameo, but the action icon turned it down, stating that he wasn’t happy with what was offered and would only change his mind if it were a more significant role.
The Predator is set for release on August 3rd, 2018 release and features a cast that includes Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Thomas Jane (The Punisher), Augusto Aguilera (The Fifth Man), Jacob Tremblay (Room) Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, The People v. O.J. Simpson), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck), Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica) and Jake Busey (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series).
