Taken director to helm Claes Bang in sci-fi thriller The New Mrs. Keller

March 25, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Taken director Pierre Morel has signed on to direct Claes Bang (The Square) in the sci-fi thriller The New Mrs. Keller, Variety has revealed.

Based on a spec script by Mark Hogan, The New Mrs. Keller takes place in the near future and “follows the smart, beautiful, and sophisticated titular Keller. She ensnares her husband, prominent surgeon Dr. David Keller, in a tense deception as his world unravels.”

Bang, who will next be seen in Sony’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sequel The Girl in the Spider’s Web, is set to play David Keller, while the search is underway for an actress to portray the titular Mrs. Vera Keller.

The New Mrs. Keller is being produced by Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, and Eric Reid, and principal photography is set to begin this October.
