Update 0.7.3 for World of Warships boldly takes us into space

March 28, 2018 by Andrew Newton

The lovely Dasha Perova gets an 80’s disco make over in the latest video showcasing the upcoming update for Wargaming’s historical naval warfare MMO World of Warships.  Update 0.7.3 celebrates April Fool’s Day by bringing back Space Battles and the Space Port.  You can see Dasha and update details on the update in the video below…

Space Mode will bring nine futuristic warships to players with each being crewed by one of nine different unique commanders.  Battles will take place over a new map but be careful of psy fields and meteor showers as these will have a serious affect on spotting range, detection ranges and the effectiveness of AA batteries.  These hazards will also have effects on any planes that may be launched and on survivability points. Those who gain victories will be rewarded with space containers that will reward with special signals, unique camouflage and themed patches.  The Space Mode will only be available until Update 0.7.4.

For clan battles the three ‘rental’ ships available to use will change giving players temporary access to the following Tier X vessels, Soviet Moskva , American Gearing and British Conqueror.  Commanders can be sent to these rental ships without any penalty and once these ships are removed at the start of update 0.7.4 the commanders will be sent to your reserve.

Visit the World of Warships site here for a list of all the changes to sound and effects.
