Warwick Davis reveals his deleted ‘one-eyed naked alien’ cameo from Star Wars: The Last Jedi

March 19, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Since making his debut in 1983’s Return of the Jedi as the lovable Ewok Wicket W. Warrick, actor Warwick Davis has become a regular in the galaxy far, far away, appearing in the The Phantom Menace, The Force Awakens and Rogue One, not to mention Star Wars Rebels and the two Ewok TV movies.

Davis also made a cameo in December’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, only for his role to end up on the cutting room floor. However, Davis has now taken to Twitter to give us a look at his character – the ‘one-eyed naked alien’ – which will be included on the Blu-ray bonus features…

Deleted scenes on @StarWars #TheLastJedi blu-ray and digital release include my ‘one-eyed naked alien‘ cameo. I tried to maintain what ‘little’ dignity he had in this behind-the-scenes photo! #SmallPart pic.twitter.com/ljJJsj1Ii1

Davis is set to make his return to the Star Wars saga this May with an appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
