Netflix releases Big Mouth season 2 trailer, sets October premiere

The animated hit series Big Mouth finally has a premiere date for its upcoming second season. The streaming service revealed the series will premiere the new season on October 5th and released a trailer to go along with the announcement. Watch the trailer below…

Big Mouth follows a group of seventh graders as they deal with the pleasantries of growing up, including hormones, self-discovery and sex ed classes. John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein return to lend theirs voices to the series, along with co-creator/executive producer Nick Kroll.

A couple of months ago Netflix also revealed some new additions for the second season. Jane the Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez will star as Missy while David Thewlis of the Harry Potter series will portray The Shame Wizard, The Hormone Monster’s mortal enemy, who is said to haunt the kids by shaming them.

Big Mouth will return on October 5th.
