After unveiling a first teaser poster earlier in the week, Disney has now debuted a teaser trailer for director Guy Ritchie’s live-action remake of the animated classic Aladdin.
Although there’s no sign of Will Smith’s Genie or Naomi Scott’s Jasmine, we do get a look at Mena Massoud’s title character as he enters the Cave of Wonders and discovers the magical lamp, as well as a brief glimpse of Jafar and his sidekick Iago.

Aladdin is being directed by Guy Ritchie (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) and features a cast that includes Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine), Will Smith (Genie), Marwan Kenzari (Jafar), Navid Negahban (The Sultan), Nasim Pedrad (Dalia); Billy Magnussen (Prince Anders) and Numan Acar (Hakim). It is set for release on May 24th 2019.
