The Pick of the Flicks Podcast #9 – Film critic Bianca Garner discusses American Psycho

October 3, 2018 by Tom Beasley

On The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, a different guest drops in every week to chat about their favourite movie. This week, critic Bianca Garner chats about American Psycho…

This week, film critic Bianca Garner is the guest and she has decided to discuss the slimy corporate satire American Psycho, in which Christian Bale plays the psychotic Patrick Bateman. She talks about the unique perspective provided by female writer-director Mary Harron, as well as Bale’s performance and the question as to how much of Bateman’s violence is only happening in his head.
