ABZÛ now available on Nintendo Switch

November 30, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Underwater adventure ABZÛ from 505 Games and developer Giant Squid is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop.  This acclaimed adventure takes players deep below the waves into a vibrant ocean world.  The game’s launch trailer can be seen below and shows how beautiful this underwater realm looks…

ABZÛ takes players on an epic journey deep into the heart of the ocean to explore beautifully rendered ocean environments and seascapes filled with hundreds of unique species.  All species are based on real creatures and divers will be able to interact with schools of fish that will react to both the player and the ever present dangers of predators.  Players will be able to descend the depths using cleverly designed swimming controls and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the ocean.

The ocean hides many ancient secrets that lay forgotten in the darker depths and they all await discovery, but be wary of the dangers that lurk there.

Developed by Giant Squid – led by Creative Director Matt Nava and featuring a score by Grammy-nominated and two-time BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory, ABZÛ is told in the form of mythology and folklore, while capturing the dream-like feeling of underwater exploration. Discover a lush hidden world on the go, as you descend into the heart of the ocean, where ancient secrets lie forgotten and encounters with majestic creatures await. OUT NOW on Nintendo Switch.

ABZÛ is available on the Nintendo eShop now.
