Characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia invade Azur Lane in new update

November 20, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Yostar, in collaboration with Idea Factory, will be bringing four main characters from the popular RPG video game Hyperdimension Neptunia to Azur Lane as part of the upcoming Visitors from Another Dimension update arriving on 22nd November.  Meet these characters in the new trailer below…

Azure Lane is a side scrolling shoot ’em up combining the best elements of strategy and 2D shooters and will see players command a flotilla of ships each represented by an anime style battleship girl.  In the Visitors from Another Dimension update Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert from RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia will make an appearance and along with each character’s Goddess forms (Purple Heart, Black Heart, White Heart and Green Heart), will bring a total of eight new battleship girls to fight with.

Also with the update, players can celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with a variety of festive food items in the Dorms and take part in the Black Friday madness via Nep’s Lucky Bag which can reward with new skins and in-game currency.

The Visitors from Another Dimension update arrives on Thursday 22nd November.

Azur Lane is the unique mix of RPG, 2D shooter and tactical genres combined in a beautifully designed anime game. Build your own home port, collect a fleet of anime shipgirls and liberate the ocean, to bring back the peace.
