Exclusive Interview – Mia Goth on Suspiria, learning to dance and her dream directors

November 12, 2018 by Tom Beasley

Tom Beasley sits down with Suspiria actress Mia Goth to discuss her involvement in the macabre cinematic nightmare…

Luca Guadagnino’s new take on Suspiria has already polarised critics during its run on the festival circuit, transforming Dario Argento’s 1970s classic into an epic horror that marries gore with intense themes. The film stars a terrific selection of female talent, including Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Grace Moretz and Mia Goth.

The movie had its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival last month and we got the chance to sit down with Goth. She spoke about her role in the film, as well as the directors she would love to be able to work with.

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

Suspiria is set for release into UK cinemas on November 16th.
