John Boyega and Letitia Wright to Hold Back the Stars

November 10, 2018 by Gary Collinson

According to THR, John Boyega (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Letitia Wright (Black Panther) have signed on to star in the sci-fi romance Hold Back the Stars.

Based on the book of the same name by Katie Khan, Hold Back the Stars follows a man and a woman who revisit memories of their love affair on a utopian Earth while they are trapped in the vast void of space with only 90 minutes of oxygen.

Mike Cahill (I Origins) is set to direct Hold Back the Stars from a script by Christy Hall, with Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps producing.

Boyega is currently shooting next year’s Star Wars: Episode IX, where he reprises his role as Finn, while Wright has just signed on to star in a remake of the acclaimed French comedy drama Le Brio.
