Warhammer: Vermintide II DLC will take us Back to Ubersreik

November 13, 2018 by Andrew Newton

This December indie developer Fatshark will be taking Warhammer: Vermintide 2 players to some of the most popular stages from Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide in the latest DLC, Back to Ubersreik.  This trip back through time not only overhauls the visuals, it also makes it bigger, badder and crazier.

The Horn of Magnus level was one of the most popular levels in the original Vermintide and the Back to Ubersreik DLC will completely overhaul it and make it more beautiful, however, it will also make it more of a beast as the Skaven will not be fighting alone and will be joined by the forces of Chaos.

“Horn of Magnus has a very special place in our hearts here at Fatshark” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “It’s a homecoming for anyone that has played the first Vermintide, and a new experience for players who first became Heroes in Vermintide 2”

Vermintide 2 is a visually stunning and groundbreaking melee action game pushing the boundaries of the first person co-op genre. Set during the apocalyptic End Times of the Warhammer world – the game introduces the dark, bloody and twisted forces of Chaos as an enemy faction. Other new features include 15 hero careers, new environments, talent trees and the proprietary Heroic Deeds System.

The Back to Ubersreik DLC will be available on Xbox One and PC this December.
