December 22, 2018 by Gary Collinson

With filming on the long-rumoured Bad Boys for Life set to get underway next month, Variety is reporting that Vanessa Hudgens (The Princess Switch), Alexander Ludwig (Vikings) and Charles Melton (Riverdale) have signed on to star alongside the returning Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the third instalment of the action-comedy series.

According to the site, the trio will play “a modern, highly specialized police unit that collides with the old school Bad Boys (Smith and Lawrence) when a new threat emerges in Miami.” Casting continues for the main villain of the piece, while Joe Pantoliano is set to reprise his role from the first two movies as Captain Howard.
