John Green adaptation Let It Snow casts Isabela Moner, Shameik Moore, Kiernan Shipka and more

Netflix has announced that Isabela Moner (Dora the Explorer), Shameik Moore (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) have been cast in the upcoming adaptation of the John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle bestseller Let It Snow.

Also featuring in the cast of the movie are Odeya Rush (Lady Bird), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: Far from Home), Miles Robbins (Blockers), Mitchell Hope (Descendants), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet), Anna Akana (Ant-Man) and Joan Cusack (A Series of Unfortunate Events).

As per Variety, Let It Snow “is set during a once-in-a-century snowstorm that hits a small town on Christmas Eve, where several high school seniors discover unexpected opportunities as well as complications that test their friendships, love lives, and aspirations for the future.”

Filming on Let It Snow is set to get underway in the first quarter of the year, with Luke Snellin (My Mad Fat Diary, Wanderlust) directing from a script by Victoria Strouse (Finding Dory).
