Wonder Woman 1984 looks “mind-blowing”, says director Patty Jenkins

January 29, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman 1984, has teased that the film looks “mind-blowing”.

Many fans are eagerly anticipating the Wonder Woman sequel and looking forward to seeing for themselves what director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot have in store for them once the film arrives in cinemas.

While the film doesn’t arrive until 2020, that hasn’t stopped Jenkins from hyping up the movie in a recent interview with Deadline at Sundance Film Festival:

“It does have that fun pop. She was so great in such a great era and we do get to capture that. The only thing I can tell you is that it went really well, we just finished shooting, and yeah, the actors are incredible. We did a ton of the stuff on wires and it looks mind-blowing.”

Many fans will be happy to take her word for it considering the popularity of the original but time will only tell, of course.
