Having grossed almost $120 million worldwide from a budget of just $9 million, it will come as little surprise to hear that Sony has announced a sequel to the psychological horror Escape Room is in the works, and has been set for release in April 2020.

The first movie features a cast that includes Taylor Russell, Deborah Ann Woll, Logan Miller, Nik Dodani, Jay Ellis and Tyler Labine and follows six strangers who find themselves forced to navigate a series of deadly escape rooms.
