The Grand Caiman DLC out now for Shadow of the Tomb Raider

March 29, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have announced the release of The Grand Caiman, the latest DLC adventure for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  This brand new DLC will pit Lara against a ferocious deity and deadly mercenaries, and provide a volcanic challenge tomb to complete.  Watch this DLC’s release trailer below…

In The Grand Caiman a Mayan deity threatens to rain down destruction upon the innocent villagers of San Juan and it is up to Lara to battle her way through scores of deadly mercenaries to stop the cataclysmic event from unfolding.

This brand new DLC will allow players to kit themselves out in the Reptile Hide outfit and enjoy the benefits of heightened resistance against projectiles and an XP boost from assault kills.  Players will also be able to equip the new Whispering Scourge suppressed shotgun, and use the Volcano skill to craft incendiary shotgun ammo and set enemies ablaze.

Finally, players will find that all tombs from the main campaign will be playable in both Score Attack and Time Attack mode.

The Grand Caiman is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC/Steam.  This DLC is available to purchase separately or is free to season pass owners.

To protect villagers from the aggression of Trinity, Lara Croft must hunt mercenaries, face the towering wrath of a volcanic new challenge tomb, and survive the lethal surprise concealed within. Equip the Force of Chaos Gear pack and charge into the fray with the Reptile Hide outfit and Whispering Scourge shotgun.
