Lord of the Flies gets a modern makeover in trailer for Netflix’s The Society

Ahead of its arrival on Netflix next month, the streaming service has released a teaser trailer for the teen drama series The Society. Described as a modern take Lord of the Flies, it stars Kathryn Newton, Rachel Keller, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jacques Colimon, Grace Victoria Cox, Olivia DeJonge, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Emilio Garcia-Sanchez, Kelly Golden, Spencer House, and Jose Julian; watch it here…

The Society follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town, left without any trace of their parents. As they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get home, they must establish order and form alliances if they want to survive.

The Society arrives on Netflix on May 10th.
