Killing Eve leads winners of BAFTA’s 2019 British Academy Television Awards

BBC and AMC’s Killing Eve fending off competition from Bodyguard, Save Me and Informer last night at BAFTA’s British Academy Television Awards to win the coveted Best Drama Series gong.

Killing Eve won three awards in total on the night, adding Best Leading Actress (Jodie Comer) and Best Supporting Actress (Fiona Shaw), while Patrick Melrose was a double winner, scooping Best Miniseries and Best Leading Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch).
