Netflix releases new trailer for Orange Is the New Black’s final season

June 26, 2019 by Ricky Church

As the arrival of Orange Is the New Black looms a few weeks from now, Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming final season of the streaming service’s hit series. Watch it below…

Orange Is the New Black first premiered in 2013 and became a hit for Netflix, becoming the service’s most watched original series and earning multiple Emmy Awards over its run. The series stars Taylor Schilling, Yael Stone, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne, Jackie Cruz, Selenis Leyva, Dascha Polanco, Danielle Brooks, Laura Prepon, Taryn Manning, Uzo Aduba and Adrienne C. Moore.

While this marks the end for Orange Is the New Black, discussions are already underway for a potential sequel series to be developed sometime from now.

In the final season, the ladies of Litchfield will have to come to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever. Piper struggles with life on the outside, while Max, as corrupt and unjust as ever, goes on without her on the inside. Taystee’s friendship with Cindy still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, while Gloria and her kitchen staff are confronted by the harsh realities of Polycon’s newest profit stream.

Orange Is the New Black season 7 is set to arrive on Netflix on July 26th.
