Plot details for the Black Widow movie are being kept under wraps, but if rumours are to be believed, it is set to take place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, with flashbacks also exploring Natasha’s origin.

Black Widow is being directed by Cate Shortland (Lore), and sees Scarlett Johansson starring alongside David Harbour (Hellboy), Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family), Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale). It is set for release next year.
