Wasteland 3 coming to consoles, PC and Mac spring 2020

June 13, 2019 by Andrew Newton

At E3 2019 inXile Entertainment announced that they will be releasing Wasteland 3 on Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Mac in Spring 2020, they also revealed a new trailer showcasing the some of the new locations and enemies that players will face.  Enjoy the new trailer below….

Wasteland 3 sees the return of the legendary series and will have players once again taking on the role of Desert Rangers, the lawmen of the post-nuclear world.  However, unlike previous games in the series the action moves from the dry and dusty heat of the American south-west to the frozen remains of Colorado where players will fight through a number of chilling new locations and fight a variety of the region’s weird and wild denizens.

This latest title in the series contains a selection of new features, including a dynamic conversation system, an upgradable player vehicle and the ability to play the storyline in co-op.  There’s also all the tactical turn-based combat that fans love.

“Wasteland 3 is a passion project for inXile and especially me. I directed the first Wasteland in 1988 and its sequel was one of the original great crowdfunding successes, and it’s a series we care deeply about.” Said Brian Fargo, CEO of inXile, “Thanks to our partnership with Deep Silver and Microsoft, we’re able to deliver the kind of deep, immersive experience that Wasteland fans want and expect.”

Wasteland 3 arrives early next year.
