With filming now underway on Fast & Furious 9, Deadline is reporting that Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Anna Sawai (Ninja Assassin) and Vinnie Bennett (Ghost in the Shell) have joined the cast of the blockbuster action sequel.
Details on the characters for the new additions are being kept under wraps, but the join a cast that includes the returning Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Chris ‘Lucacris’ Bridges, along with fellow franchise newcomer John Cena (Bumblebee).
Fast & Furious 9 is set for release on May 22nd 2020, and sees Justin Lin returning to the director’s chair once again having previously helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth instalments.
