Dead by Daylight is receiving an exclusive Nightmare Edition physical release in December

October 29, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Publisher 505 Games and developer Behaviour Interactive have announced plans to release an exclusive physical retail edition of the asymmetrical horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight.

The Dead by Daylight Nightmare Edition will be available on 6th December on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for a price of £34.99 in territories where available.

Dead by Daylight Nightmare Edition features the original award-winning game and three chapters, including the circus-themed “Curtain Call” chapter, the haunted spirit “Shattered Bloodline” chapter and the new horrifying chapter “Stranger Things,” based on the wildly popular Netflix Original Series, which allows players to utilise Steve, Nancy, and the Demogorgon.

In addition to these three chapters, the physical edition will also include the Headcase Cosmetic Pack, offering players a variety of trendy hairstyles and accessories to style their favourite survivor, the 80’s Suitcase, The Bloodstained Sack, Of Flesh and Mud, and The Spark of Madness add-ons.

In Dead by Daylight, players experience a deadly game of cat and mouse with two styles of gameplay—as a survivor, from a third-person perspective; or the killer, in first-person perspective. Survivors can work together or act alone using their situational awareness, while killers are on the hunt, focused on their prey.
