Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds teases meeting with Marvel Studios

October 16, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Ryan Reynolds, the actor behind Deadpool, has teased a meeting with Marvel Studios via his social media.

Ever since Disney purchased 20th Century Fox, Deadpool fans have been wondering just what will become of the Ryan Reynolds led franchise and if Deadpool will join the MCU. With the Deadpool films being R-rated, it certainly isn’t a simple question to answer.

Well, teasing that talks might be ongoing or something is developing behind the scenes, Ryan Reynolds has taken to his social media to post about his meeting with Marvel Studios. Reynolds joked:

“Auditioned for the role of ‘Anthony Stark’. Didn’t come even remotely close, but the nice man with the taser escorted me to the ground.”

What was discussed at the meeting, we don’t know, but fingers crossed there will be some Deadpool news coming our way soon. For now, we will just have to be patient.
