Kevin Feige teases the future of Ant-Man after Avengers: Endgame

October 9, 2019 by Liam Waddington

The audience last saw Scott Lang/Ant-Man in the finale of Avengers: Endgame during the funeral of Tony Stark. However, there has been no announcement yet as to whether the fan-favourite character will be getting a third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During an interview with The New York Times, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has teased the future of Scott Lang by noting that Endgame set the stage for the future of the MCU.

“The chess pieces were arranged very purposefully after Endgame,” Feige confirmed to the outlet. “Those that are off the board are off, and those that are still on, you never know.”

Scott Lang isn’t the only major character in the sub-franchise as Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp has an important role in the story of Ant-Man, with her future in the MCU also up in the air at present as well.

Would you like to see Paul Rudd returning for a third film in the Ant-Man series? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
